We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three person, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection and that they carry out distinct but harmonious functions in the work of creation, providence, and redemption (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Father - We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of humanity, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ (Leviticus 11:45; John 4:24; 1 Peter 1:3; John 3:16).
The Son - We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and that he is true God and true man and is the only Mediator between God and man (Luke 1:35; John 1:1, 12, 14; 14:9; 1 Timothy 2:5).
The Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son; that He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment; that He bears witness to the church; that He is the agent of the new birth; that at conversion He baptizes the believer into the Body of Christ; and that he seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies and helps the believer, indwelling every true child of God (John 16:8-11; 3:3-7; Ephesians 1:13; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16,17; Romans 8:14-27; 1 Corinthians 12:12,13).
